I have become very opposed to the alito nomination after listening to the hearings. I called our senators and emailed them as well, last week. It seems like I should be calling some moderate republicans too. They didn't ask me where I was from when I called, so it seems worthwhile to call many of them and register my support for a filibuster. Do you know how I could best contact some republicans, and who they may be that would be potentialy influenced? I haven't found the local numbers for them, but I suspect calls to the various localities would suggest the call was form a constituent more than a call to their DC office. I don't really know what would be most effective. Any suggestions how to best take action?

I love that you write these letter and post them here. :) thanks again for having us yesterday, too!

Heh, I enjoy writing them, too.

You're welcome any time. But if there's not a party going on, expect the place to be a complete disaster area :)
